While watching the latest episode of the amusing British TV comedy "The IT Crowd" I was happy to see a poster in the background by one of my favorite artists, Jim Woodring. Here's the link, and screen capture:

The IT Crowd

The poster is "Frank in the Pond" and can be found here on Jim Woodring's site. Around when I was first making my web page over ten years ago, I also discovered Jim Woodring's work for the first time in the margins of the Whole Earth Catalog while procrastinating in the college library. So I decided to include a page about Jim in my webpage. It's still a crude and skinny page, but it has the one important link to more colorful goods straight from the source. I did have other links there, but they all died out over the years. You can see how slim the pickings were, with the low quality copyright violations I pulled off the few web pages about Jim that existed at the time.

In other news, I twiddled with the links to the right. I put the main page link to the top and added blog links to the kind souls that left some comments here. I don't know those guys personally, so they are not "sakura".

Today's interesting link is probably already well known by most of you, but I have recently added it to my dailly reading list. It truly is a directory of wonderful things! Just recently they have had great links to crazy English in China, Hitler's cartoon collection, cargo cults, "hamburger" cake, and Disney's exclusive Club 33. There is too much good stuff at Boing Boing!
